HMP Brixton

Brixton is a resettlement prison housing category C/D prisoners located in London. 

Forward delivers substance misuse programmes at the prison including:

Stepping Stones – Medium intensity, part-time rolling programme, run over four weeks and consisting of 20 sessions. Designed to meet the needs of offenders who misuse drugs and/or alcohol who are serving short sentences or are on remand.

Case management – Talking interventions provided by a keyworker/counsellor, such as relapse prevention and motivational enhancement. Can be delivered in either a group or one-to-one environment.

The Rapt- Substance Dependence Treatment Programme (SDTP) - An intensive, full-time, abstinence-based programme, aimed at medium-high risk offenders with a history of drug dependence. The programme is delivered on a Rapt recovery wing. The clients on the wing live and work the programme together in a safe environment away from other prisoners.
