Forward Connect peer support
Who it’s for
- Anyone who has completed one of our programmes or is making progress in any of our services
- Anyone currently staying in a supported housing project that works with Forward, such as Kairos, Nehemiah and Steps2Recovery
- Forward peer supporters and mentors, volunteers and trainees (including More Than My Past campaign ambassadors)
If you’re a client of our drug and alcohol service, you will need to be on an identified recovery pathway with a goal of abstinence in order to be eligible. Check with your key worker if you’re unsure whether Forward Connect is right for you.

Get supportOther organisations that can help
Find other organisationsIt took a while, but everyone got to know one another better and I’ve now made friends with lots of people in the group. I also have a better understanding of what my son went through, and I think others in the group have an insight into how family members are trying to deal with their own situations.
