Living Safely - Drug and Alcohol
Living Safely is a series of workshops that provides safe coping skills to minimise the risk of harm and relapse among drug and alcohol users. It is a low intensity intervention for individuals with varying levels of drug or alcohol problems. This includes binge drinkers or those who simply want to learn more about the effects of drugs/alcohol and how to use or drink more safely. Living Safely is accessible to service users undergoing clinical interventions (e.g. opiate substitution treatment).
Living Safely Drug consists of 13 90-minute workshops, Living Safely Alcohol consists of eight. It is recommended that individuals attend at least four workshops and engage with the entire programme where possible.
