Creating social impact
Blue Sky Services through the Forward Trust employs ex-offenders and other unemployed groups who want to work in ground maintenance and related sectors. We give them the training and practical experience to develop the mind-sets and behaviours needed to succeed in work. Many of our employees progress to careers with organisations in the private sector.
Our employment model has a proven impact on reducing re-offending – a reduction of up to 23% according the Ministry of Justice’s Data Lab. This makes it one of the highest performing interventions on record.
Our impact includes:
100% track record of completing work on time and to customer requirements
Repeat customers – including both local authorities and commercial customers – with some relationships lasting over 10 years
We deliver social value and impact that can help customers achieve their Corporate Social Responsibility goals
