Stepping Stones is a low-medium intensity four week, 20-session psychosocial intervention for those drinking alcohol or using drugs at harmful or dependent levels. It comprises four core modules/topics focused on learning and practising coping skills to stay safe and manage triggers, cravings and symptoms of anxiety and trauma which, if left unaddressed, would be likely to undermine recovery. Stepping Stones is accessible to service users undergoing clinical interventions (e.g. opiate substitution treatment).
